FNQRRC NQ Superlite - Class Rules
Eligibility and machine compliance for this class shall be determined by use of the current Motorcycling Australia Manual of Motorcycle Sport and class/machine specific eligibility criteria contained within the rules detailed below. Issues not adequately addressed by these methods shall be determined by the FNQRRC Road Racing committee.
CLASSES: 100CC 2 STROKE & 150CC 4 STROKE WITH AN ENGINE TOLERANCE OF 5%.
MACHINES: MACHINES SHALL BE NON-COMPETITION, ROAD, TRAIL OR ROAD / TRAIL MACHINES ONLY. ENGINE AND FRAME COMBINATION TO BE CORRECT FOR THE MODEL.
MACHINES CURRENTLY APPROVED ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Bridgestone: 90/100
Honda: CB100/125 K, J, S, N, T; XL100/125, SL100/125, H100 A, S; CT100/125.
Kawasaki: KH100, G4, G7, KE100 KV100, KM100
Suzuki: GP100, A100, TS100, TF100, GS125, DR125, DS80, GT100, TC100,
Yamaha: DX100, DT100, RX100, LS1, LS3, RT100, AS3, YL1, YB1
THE COMMITTEE WILL CONSIDER ANY & ALL APPLICATIONS FOR ADDITIONS TO THE ABOVE MACHINE LIST IN THE SPIRIT OF NQ SUPERLITE RACING.
MACHINE SPECIFICATION / PERMISSIBLE MODIFICATION
a) NO LIQUID COOLING: OIL COOLERS ARE PERMITTED ON 4 STROKES.
b) IGNITIONS – FITMENT OF ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER SUPPLIED MAGNETO IGNITIONS FROM LATER MODEL MACHINES eg H100A to H100S IS PERMITTED.
c) FRAME / CHASSIS MODIFICATION: SWINGARM, FRONT FORKS, BRAKES AND WHEEL HUBS – MUST BE AS ORIGINALLY FITTED BY THE MANUFACTURER BUT MAY BE MODIFIED.
d) WHEELS: MAXIMUM RIM WIDTH IS 1. 85
e) TYRES: TYRES TO BE READILY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA; MUST BE MANUFACTURED FOR ROAD USE IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. NO SLICKS OR WET RACING TYRES; TYRES ARE TO BE AS THEY LEFT THE MANUFACTURER, IE NO MODIFICATIONS OR RE-GROOVING. TYRES MUST BE WORN TO NO MORE THAN TO THE MINIMUM TREAD DEPTH INDICATORS.
f) ENGINE MODIFICATION / TUNING: CYLINDER HEAD, CYLINDER, CRANKCASES, GEARBOX & CARBURETTOR MUST BE AS ORIGINALLY FITTED BY MANUFACTURER (IDENTICAL EQUIVALENTS I.E. SL / XL HONDA CRANKCASES ALLOWED) BUT MAY BE MODIFIED.
NOTE THAT GEARBOX CONFIGURATION MUST REMAIN AS ORIGINAL, EG 5 SPEED REMAINS 5 SPEED.
g) FAIRINGS/BODYWORK – MAY BE ADDED / ALTERED PROVIDED COMPLIANCE WITH THE CURRENT MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA MANUAL OF MOTORCYCLE SPORT IS MET.
h) EXHAUST SYSTEMS - EXHAUST SYTEMS MAY BE MODIFIED / REPLACED, HOWEVER NOISE EMISSION SHALL NOT EXCEED PARAMETERS AS DEFINED IN THE CURRENT MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA MANUAL OF MOTORCYCLE SPORT.
The FNQRRC ROAD RACING committee governs the implementation and enforcement of the NQ SUPERLITE Racing Rules. The committee will determine penalties for non-compliance.
